As a diabetic I was scheduled to be induced in late June 2023. When I arrived at the induction centre my partner and I were greeted by the very warm and welcoming staff and offered breakfast before my initial checks and beginning of the induction process. We were instantly made to feel relaxed and comfortable. The midwife initially looking after me- Fiona was absolutely lovely and made me feel so at ease during all of my examinations. The staff could not do enough to make me feel comfortable throughout the induction process.
When I went into labour, again, every single member of staff from the midwives/student midwives/doctors/surgeons/anesthetists were absolutely amazing. My birth experience ended in a c section which was also a very positive experience. The team performing my surgery were so calm, composed and supportive- I actually really enjoyed the experience.
I can not speak highly enough of every single member of staff who was involved in my maternity care during the 5 days I was in the hospital. It was the most wonderful experience and I owe it to everyone involved for making it that.
