I had a heart attack at the end of June.
Phoned 111 to get answers to my problem was told to go to Douglas Street NHS Hamilton. I had tests and was told to go to Wishaw general hospital - they had sent a message to the front desk to see a special unit for my condition .
When I walked into A&E to see this special unit I was told that unit closed from 5:00 that night so I was told to sit and wait like a normal patient.
For 5 hours I sat there with wife by my side with this excruciating pain before I was taken in for more tests and after the test I was taken to a bed .
3 hours later I was taken up to cardiac ward .
I'm just annoyed that waiting time so long when could have died of an heart attack I thought I would pass this grievance on to save others going the same way
