After being on the waiting list for a long time - due to the pandemic, I had to contact the waiting list team myself because I hadn’t heard from the NHS again since my initial consultation appointment with the surgeon a couple years prior. After they realised I had been taken off and admitted I should have been still on and taken by now, I was called quite quickly after a cancellation and asked at short notice to come into the WGH day surgery.
