"I feel that a simple thank you is not enough to express how wonderful all the nurses were"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency Crosshouse Hospital / High Dependency Unit

(as the patient),

After recently being admitted to High Dependency after a severe DKA, I am so thankful for the care and treatment I received from all the staff in ward 4F and A&E.

It was very much touch and go for a while and the staff treated my family with thoughtfulness and respect. I felt safe and supported whilst I recovered and staff made sure I was comfortable and calm.

I feel that a simple thank you is not enough to express how wonderful all the nurses were. Not just physically helping me but also mentally. I feel that my speedy recovery is due to the care and support I was given whilst in 4F.

I am now at home recovering with the support of my family and I am starting to get stronger day by day.
