In April 2023 I had a stoke. Which I was admitted to the UCLH hospital for several months. During my stay an application was made for me to go a rehab ward. I was then told I have been given a place in a level 2 rehab unit which was called NRC and is based in Edgware.
During my time at the NRC my progress has been significant. I have had support from staff members enabling me to help me with my speech and language, Occupational therapy, Psychology- arithmetic and a refresh of the life skills that I need.
