"The care he received was incredible from everyone"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Accidents & Emergency Antrim Area Hospital / Ward A2 Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had his tonsils out and developed a post op bleed.

I took him to Antrim ED where he was seen by a doctor and then by an ENT doctor. They admitted him to A2 and he was monitored overnight.

They then decided to take him back to theatre and he was soon back in the ward recovering. He was looked after incredibly well by a nurse and a student nurse.

Every member of the nursing team worked so well together and it was lovely to see. The care he received was incredible from everyone we met along the way.
