I've had spinal issues since birth but they weren't found till I was about 12. I've been in pain since. have been sent to countless physiotherapy appointments to be met with the same result. I'm being told to do exercises & stretches for my spine & sent on my way still in pain & I have never gotten relief.
Recently over past year I've deteriorated & now have two disks in my lower spine that swell & cause issues with the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve in hip. I can struggle to dress & wash & and walk about when it randomly flairs up.
While the nurses have been very kind and understanding, I feel like the doctors aren't taking me seriously. A spinal specialist suggested that my condition wasn't bad enough to take further action. I've reached the end of my rope, Feeling unimportant, like no one cares and I'm emotionally drained.
