"Caring, compassionate and empathetic"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / High Dependency Unit & Intensive Care Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My son who has very challenging behaviour and mental health issues attended for elective total hip replacement . A great deal of forward planning was involved to facilitate his admission and aftercare. The nursing staff who cared for him in ward 116 post operatively were simply amazing .They kept me fully informed and were caring , compassionate and empathetic . I would appreciate you passing on my sincere thanks to all involved in his care.

I would like to thank you very much for this feedback and taking time out to send it. I hope your son is continuing to recover well and am pleased we were able to help and make a difference for him during what would have been a very difficult time.

Thank you again and take care.

Michelle
