"Kind staff and excellent care"

Following bowel screening last year, I was quickly called in for a colonoscopy. The procedure highlighted the need for major surgery.

I had my operation a couple of months later.

From my first consultation , through diagnostic tests, surgery and follow up appointments, I was always treated with care and kindness.

My consultant, Mr Brennan, was absolutely excellent ; he explained everything in great detail, in a way which was easy to understand. He also showed great empathy and and consideration with me.

The care and support I received from every member of nursing and support staff was first class.

I can honestly say that the staff made a difficult time much easier for me.
