For the past two weeks I have been trying to contact the surgery to ask for an x-ray referral as I can never get an appointment. It is 8.30 am. I tried, again, to ask reception a question, evidently they reached capacity. If there is a way to book a GP appointment on line I have yet to find it. This is appalling. We don't all have time to wait on the phone and the receptionist appears to decide whether I need to see a GP or not without passing my request through for the GP to decide.
We are told not to go to A&E unless our problem is urgent. My problem is getting worse. I know my body. I need an x-ray. Looks like I will have to worry the overrun A&E department at Kingston Hospital.
Is there no authority overseeing this surgery ? I feel the service just gets worse.
I am angry and frustrated.
