I was admitted to ward 54 Urology in Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. I had received a letter giving me all the details.
On arrival the staff were lovely I have no fault with anyone at all.
I had to go to theatre and staff prepared me for this I feel I was well prepared and staff kept me informed every step of the way.
Staff in ward 54 are chatty and friendly this makes me feel good and keeps me relaxed I have no worries about anything.
If I have questions I feel I can ask anyone from Doctors to nurses , Nursing assistants to cleaners everyone is approachable.
I am in a side room here and I never feel isolated as staff are in and out of the room regularly.
The meals in here have been very good A really good choice I have enjoyed every meal.
I actually missed lunch one day and the staff brought me a snack box it was lovely too.
Regarding washing and showering I do need help to wash my back as I have a drain in and staff are always so helpful.
In Ward 54 I have received excellent care If I had gone private it couldn't have been any better The care in Ward 54 is excellent, really nice staff and always quick to attend if I need them (Buzzer is answered very quickly)
I met a new young volunteer today it was his first day and he very kindly brought me a Bottle of cool water from the fridge.
To sum up I have received really good care here in Ward 54 I cannot fault anything.
"Really nice staff always quick to attend to me"
