Hi. I just want to commend the efforts being made to tackle the huge waiting lists. Appointment for my 17 year old daughter, clinic was packed at 9am. Despite the enormous number of patients the three doctors had scheduled for the day, at no time did we feel rushed. Each and every member of staff we came into contact with was extremely kind, caring and professional, and the doctor invited and took time to answer our questions. Well done, thankfully for us it was nothing sinister, but for all women there it will have removed the element of ‘not knowing’ and provided either reassurance or a pathway forward.

First of all thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience of our service.

I am the radiography manager for the unit and will share this with the various disciplines that you would have encountered on the day. We are working very hard to make sure people receive their appointments and additional clinics have been put on to accommodate this. It seems this might have been what you attended, and it is great to get such positive feedback from this.

We understand just how daunting it can be attending these types of appointments and are glad your experience reflects the objectives of our services to provide professional and caring interactions throughout your visit.

We hope that the experience will encourage you to attend for any breast screening appointments you are invited to in the future also.
