About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Ambulatory Care - Medical Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came into Craigavon Area Hospital by an ambulance. Despite the lengthy journey that took nearly an hour, the paramedics who accompanied me were truly remarkable. Their skillful assistance proved invaluable, providing me with much-needed support throughout.

Upon arrival at the hospital, I was directed to a secluded cubicle within the bustling emergency department, where I awaited my turn  before being transferred here to Ambulatory. The staff are exceptional as well. They exhibit remarkable competence and have been very attentive. Their  dedication is coupled with their willingness to provide me with regular updates and valuable guidance.

To my surprise, the food has actually been quite impressive variety. The meals provided have been a source of comfort during my stay (especially the toast!)

Overall, I find myself at ease, as the facilities available are truly exceptional.

Good afternoon

I would like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to share your experience of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. It was reassuring to learn of the high skill of the paramedics who attended to your call and administered the help and assistance needed in spite of the waiting time, allowing for comfort for your journey to the emergency department at Craigavon Area Hospital. Feedback such as this lifts the morale of the paramedics involved in what is a particularly challenging period.

I wish you the best with your recuperation.

Ruairi Cummings
