"I will live to enjoy another day."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

In June  I was tended to by the staff at Ward 34 the Acute Surgical Unit.

The consultant  finally sorted out my problem and I would like to thank him and everyone else involved.

Unfortunately the supposed simple Urology procedure was rather traumatic and this was the 2nd time that a simple procedure had me visiting the Acute Surgical Unit.

The District Nurse who attended me 12 weeks ago then managed to complete the procedure, although with difficulty.

This time I was directed to the Acute Surgical Unit once more as I was bleeding and the District Nurse prudently thought that the  hospital environment had all the facilities to deal with my simple procedure.

The consultant out my ongoing problem and said that he would arrange for further tests within 3 weeks.

As usual the Ward was busy but the staff very kind and business like.

I would just like to thank all at Ward 34 who were involved with my treatment, especially the consultant

I am back home now and the blood flow is diminishing. I am still breathing and that’s a bonus.

I am feeling tender but progressing towards normality, I will live to enjoy another day.

Thank you Ward 34 and Mr Jalil.
