"Care of our father"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

Anything else?

We wanted to thank the professional, caring and supportive team on the Oncology / haematology ward who supported us and our father, Barry Redhead, in his final days this week and for the continuing support of the department and the Bereavement Centre since his death on Tuesday 6 August. We can think of no area where their support and care could have been improved and we will always be grateful to them for helping our father and us through this time with dignity and a smile.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with such lovely feedback at what I appreciate must be a very sad time for you and your family. I will ensure that all of the staff on the haematology/oncology Unit and in Bereavement Care are made aware of your comments.

I would like to also take this opportunity to offer you and your family our sincere condolences at this time.
