I was referred to a Gastroenterologist by my GP, who immediately recognised my symptoms, that assuring me all I'd felt was real.
His referral led to being seen by a Specialist Dietician, in a low FODMAP diet.
With several further appointments I was able to understand and resume control over what I could eat.
It has been a long, but interesting journey, my occupation being in the food industry.
I no longer require regular appointments but know I'm able to contact my Dietician by telephone should I have any problems.
