Amazing staff and good care that was given to our mum. Our Mother became ill 2 weeks ago and an ambulance was called . The ambulance arrived very quickly, she was treated with great care and attention, then taken to Monklands Hospital.
During her time in the A&E department the staff were fantastic, especially the nurse who went out his way to give her a pair of woolly red socks to keep her feet warm.
Afterwards she was moved to the AMRU ward, who continued to care and treat our Mum who had a chest infection . The staff were very helpful and caring until she was moved to Ward 2 and this is where she stayed until fit enough to get home.
The staff in ward 2 were exceptional, very caring and provided the care she needed until she was discharged home. We as a family cannot thank the NHS staff enough and are grateful for all the hard work you do.
On the whole, great care was provided by NHS staff - ambulance team, A&E staff , AMRU ward staff and ward 2 staff, especially ward manager Donna and her staff .
We feel so grateful for the hard work the NHS provide for everyone through these challenging times you face . Thank you for all the hard work and hours you put in . I don’t think you are appreciated enough .
"Thank you for all the hard work and hours you put in"
