"The fantastic care at the A&E"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as a relative),

I have came in with my sick father into the A&E, as he has already pre-existing heart issues it was very stressful for him and for us. He was experiencing chest pain, and pain in his leg which had an affect on his movement. We didn't have to wait a long time before my dad was taken in for blood test by an amazing nurse Anita who was so caring toward my father and took amazing care of him.

After being admitted to the A&E we were taken care of by Dr Hadeer who was absolutely fabulous, she made sure of my fathers comfort however she could, giving him a dose of morphine which allowed my dad to finally rest. She has decided that the best course of action is to perform a scan of his leg to figure out what the possible issue could be, but before that she took additional blood tests and made sure to have checked everything she could. Hadeer and Anita made sure to check in on my father every 15 minutes which made my father and my mother feel at ease knowing that we were in good hands. After which Dr Hadeer has scheduled a Vascular Clinic appointment for the next day to ensure that my fathers condition is not negated by anyone.

Me and my family are extremely grateful to Dr Hadeer and her co-worker Anita for the amazing care that both of them have provided, any question we had they had an answer for and I couldn't be anymore grateful for the Help, and Expertise provided by Dr Hadeer and the Support and Efficiency provided by Anita. I really couldn't be more grateful and many thanks to these two extraordinary women who definitely know what they're doing. The level of professionalism was unmatched to anyone I have ever dealt with before. Once more many thanks to the amazing Dr Hadeer and fantastic Anita

Dear Timnk04

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was sorry to hear your father had to attend the A&E Department of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary after experiencing chest pains.

I can only begin to imagine how worried you and your family must have been prior to his admission so to hear he didn't have to wait long to be seen was very comforting.

I was also pleased to hear the care and treatment he received from all the staff was to a high standard and he felt well cared for.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the staff especially Anita and Dr Hadeer who I'm sure will be touched to receive such glowing feedback.

I hope your father is feeling a lot better and recovering well back at home.

Kind regards

Kevin
