"My recent stay in ICU"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Intensive & Critical Care Unit

(as a service user),

Was taken to A & E in May - dealt with very efficiently.  Then admitted to ICU for them to deal with my dangerously low sodium levels. I can’t fault the medical attention and care I received from all the staff, doctors, nurses and students.  Nothing was too much trouble for them.  

The only thing I found were the blankets on the bed were heavy and not very warm.  The veggie meals I was given were delicious.  Always served up hot.  Apart from salads of course.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. It is great to hear that you cannot fault the medical attention and care you received in ED and through to ICU.

I hope you are recovering well, I will ensure that your feedback is shared with the whole team here in the Emergency Department.

Unfortunately I am not able to look into the concerns raised about the blankets but I will ask the team to pass your feedback in regards to the blankets available on site to our procurement team to see if improvements can be made.
