I recently found myself in a difficult situation. The health Village were wonderful, contactable when needed and very understanding and knowledgeable about my situation. I had a few complications and needed some ongoing appointments. Dr Wallage was wonderful, so attentive and caring.
I also received brilliant care from the HCSWs I. The outpatients department in Dr Grays Hospital. Particularly Sarah, who held my hand, fanned me when I felt unwell and brought me a biscuit to perk me up before I left. They also really respected my confidentiality (I work for NHSG), I didn’t feel worried about this once.
I hope others who may find themselves in my situation can read this and understand they will be treated with kindness and respect.
