"They have a special place in my heart"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I headed to Edinburgh RI as my baby was coming. Went to the Birth Center and there I had my amazing midwives Angie and Anna. 

I couldn’t have asked for better midwives, they don’t know it but they have a special place in my heart.  

Angie was super sweet and knowledgeable, took the time to read my birthing plan and looked after me accordingly. 

She was there for me all the time, encouraging me and making sure me and baby are fine. 

By the time of the actual pushing Anna also came in the room to help. She was fantastic too, smiley, calm and she took away all the worries that came with the transition phase. 

Although I had a small complication at the end for which I had to go the theatre, they both had ensured that I had a super positive experience.

Can’t thank them and praise them enough.
