About: Causeway Hospital / Childrens Ward

(as a service user),

My baby was admitted to the children's ward for a week. The care we received was outstanding from start to finish. Nothing was too much to ask, even when the team were very busy.

Not only was the medical treatment excellent, but the team showed compassion and genuine care for both my son and myself.

We have been so well looked after by everyone, including the domestic and catering staff.

We are so grateful for such support during a very stressful and upsetting time.

Dear P&J, my name is Peter Johnston and I am the Lead Nurse for Acute Children's Nursing in the Trust including Causeway Children's Ward.

I am delighted to read of you and your sons' experience of the care in our ward including the whole team of doctors, nurses, domestic and catering staff and I will write to each of these teams to let them know of your kind thoughts.

It really does make a difference to the the ward team to know that their care is so well appreciated.
