"Cauda equina journey"

About: Neurology / Ward 23B - Surgical Neurology

(as a service user),

Last month I was rushed in for an emergency operation on my back for Cauda equina syndrome.

I was so scared of what was happening after my MRI scan I was then taken to the wrong ward, for the porter to be screamed at that I should not have been there -  the member of staff was so angry and scary looking.

I was then took to ward 23b to be welcomed from a set of angels nursers. They were honestly so caring and loving I want to thank everyone of them they made me feel at ease. Thanks to everyone in ward 23b who helped me during my hard time.
