"The attention of the staff was phenomenal"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended the A&E department with my son who had been taken by ambulance due to pneumonia.

The wait was lengthy, although worthwhile, and the attention of the doctors, nursing staff and all support staff was phenomenal - they gave additional information and support when asked.

I would dearly give up any pay rise I have for these hardworking NHS staff.

Thank you all so much.

Hello and thank you for providing us with feedback regarding your son’s patient experience and for such kind words.

Arriving by ambulance and into a busy A&E department can be extremely overwhelming so I’m pleased to hear that you felt well cared for and supported at this time.

Please be assured I will pass this Thank you on to the Matron of ED now for her to share with the team.

May we wish your son a speedy recovery!

Best wishes

Kelly
