I have been receiving venesections for Ferroprotin Disease from Ward 7 (originally Ward 1) almost every two weeks for about 2.5 years. The nurses on the ward make it such a welcoming place and the atmosphere of care they create is exceptional. They are always busy caring for patients, but still make time to have a chat and a laugh, and provide tea and biscuits. The venesections have been performed with exceptional skill and their organization in terms of arranging appointments is great. All the nurses I have met have been extremely professional but I would particularly like to pay tribute to Jenny who has performed most of my venesections, who is incredibly professional but also a very lovely and funny person. Thank you so much for you care.
