The staff in the 1 East ward have been amazing, I was up in 2 north due to repertory issues that I was facing before I was brought down here and staff there are a lot younger compared to this ward and you can tell that they just need a bit of confidence when working with patients and they will be great. I understand that starting this new career can be stressful never mind being that young but they were still overall quite good but just feel they need more confidence in themselves. The staff on this ward have kept me well informed with good explanations so that I am able to understand.
The food is brilliant and it is nice being in a side room by myself but it does get really lonely especially when I'm not allowed any visitors.
The toilet facilities are good and kept very clean. When I first came in I was in the emergency department too and the staff were lovely.
Overall I have bene having a very good experience with the staff and treatment being provided at CAH.
