After suffering a major stroke, my mother was first on the 2 South ward and has now been in the Ramone ward for five weeks. The Ramone ward staff has been a crucial component in my mother's recuperation. Their concern extended beyond routine tasks and activities to times when they spent time with my mother to support her in times of stress. Despite how busy the ward is and the demands of the job, I am still in awe of the staff's dedication to providing my mother with care that matters through genuine moments of connection and listening.
The meal is good, according to my mother, who also mentioned that one woman (a support worker Ann, I believe?) makes her cup of teas to perfection. She always comes in to check on my mum, she has built a real connection with my mum and I thank her for being so pleasant to her, it really means a lot to her family knowing she is receiving such wonderful care! We can’t thank them enough for all of their work, positivity and care.
"She is receiving such wonderful care!"
