"Treated sympathetically and efficiently"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 21-23)

(as the patient),

After a fall, my family and I felt it appropriate for me to visit the Emergency Department. I was examined and treated sympathetically and efficiently in the Emergency Department and the X-ray Unit. It was decided because of my existing medical condition, that I should be admitted overnight and I was wheeled carefully to Ward 23 (Room 1).

My stay of 2 nights was completely satisfactory, All the nursing staff were caring, efficient and carried out their duties with a sense of humour. They were equally so for all the other patients in the room.  I saw Dr MacDonald twice and he was exceptionally helpful.  He took time to explain what options my GP and I would have to consider in the future with regard to my existing medical condition. With regard to the meals offered, I enjoyed everything.
