I have been so stressed about my hysteroscopy today, I had cancelled the app and then called back to see if it was still available, not sure what to do for the best. Everyone I've spoken to from the consultant, his secretary to the appointments team and the drs and nurses on gynae have all been so caring, supportive and understanding. When I turned up today I was put at ease by the 3 loveliest nurses, who reassured me I was able to stop any time and they explained everything very clearly. I didn't actually go through with it today but it meant so much to me that I was empowered to make this choice, with no guilt or judgement, and I know I will feel more confident if I ever need to come back at a later date. The whole gynae team are absolutely amazing, but an extra special thanks goes to the hysteroscopy nurses for helping me through today xxx
