"Overall experience was good"

About: South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust / Adult Acute Speech and Language Service

(as a service user),

Came into hospital after an appointment. Therapists were all very good and helpful. Things to improve would be more speech therapy, sessions could be longer and more frequent, more exercises needed. Overall experience was good, sometimes a bit lonely. Apprehensive about going home, the 1-to-1 therapy was good overall. Knows service is limited due to accuse setting.

Thank you for sharing your experience while in hospital. It is good to hear that the time you spent with your therapists was very good. It is also important to hear that you would have liked these to been longer, more frequenct and more exercises needed. Also that even in a busy hospital you felt lonely at times and you are a little apprehensive about going home. I will pass your comments on to the relevant services as they would welcome hearing these and if they are able to address or improve on any of these they will. I wish you a speedy recovery and hopefully all goes well for your return home.

Allister
