"Friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming staff"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

Had my induction booked for OC at 39+0 weeks at Exeter. Although friendly staff it took a long time to receive help or answers when on the labour ward. I had the option of delivering at Barnstaple as Exeter was 3 days behind and no closer to my house.

Once at Barnstaple the standard of care was exceptional, the care and patience the staff had for me was incredible. All were friendly, knowledgeable and really welcoming in a potentially dangerous environment. I really have loved delivering here at Barnstaple and would highly recommend it.
