I attended Cannock Hospital today for minor surgery (arthroscopy) on my right knee. I had to have a general anaesthetic and felt very much out of my comfort zone. However I needn't have worried because from the minute I entered the hospital I felt cared for, reassured and treated professionally by all the staff I encountered.
Today I have experienced the NHS at its very best. We must do everything in our power to ensure the NHS is correctly funded and is adequately staffed, to reduce the stress on the staff that are working in the NHS at the moment.
A big thank you to all the team who cared for me, you were wonderful and I hope you get to see this review.
