"So grateful for the care we received"

About: Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick children / Emergency Department Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick children / Trauma & Orthopaedics

(as a service user),

Attended A&E with my 3 year old after he fell and I suspected a broken arm. From reporting to reception we were taken immediately to a nurse (Ruth) who gave him some medication, then the doctor (Grant) took us to a room immediately, he was then xrayed immediately by lovely Chloe, seen immediately by doctors Grant and Ben, arm put in plaster assisted by nurses Santina and Shannon. I was absolutely blown away and so grateful for the care we received, Grant even stayed on after his shift had ended. They are all angels and a brilliant team thank you so much.

Hello

My name is Sinead Duffin and I am the Service Manager for ED in RBHSC. Thank you for taking the time to post such a positive experience of your visit to ED with your son. I have asked that your comments are shared with all staff, particularly those staff involved in your son's care. They will be delighted that the care that they provided made such a difference. I hope that your son is making a good recovery.
