"Gallbladder surgery"

About: Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

On 20 February I went into Wigan Infirmary..Christopher Home..to have my gall bladder removed.

I’m an 80 year old lady, and I have never had surgery before, and to say I was scared would be an understatement..I was terrified. But the treatment I received was second to none….everyone was so kind and understanding and completely put me at ease.

The operation was a success and I was allowed home the same day.
