"ward l38 is amazing "

My 5 year old daughter was admitted to l38 via a&e a day after a surgical procedure at this hospital. Due to complications she was in severe pain and the nurses were beyond amazing. We cannot stress enough how overwhelmed we were that at a time where we thought we were going to lose our daughter, the nurses stepped in to ensure her pain relief was appropriate to her intense pain and that an ultrasound scan was in place. Had it not been for the nursing staff on l38, our experience there would have been horrific. We have been left traumatised by the complications of her surgery, but have been soothed by the nurses beyond words.
