My mother fell ill recently. Initially I called 111 and was advised to go to A&E, but had to call an ambulance when my mother started to fall unconscious. The ambulance staff (Tom and Adrian from Exeter) were brilliant - they were thorough and caring.
The staff in A&E were busy but still made time to regularly check on us. The staff in the resus department were reassuring and again very attentive.
X-rays and scans were completed in a speedy manner and a possible diagnosis reached. We felt we were in very safe hands and could see staff were doing all they could even though they were very busy.
Thank you to everyone who helped (Ketty in A&E and Ollie in resus to name a few!)
"Excellent emergency care"
