About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as a relative),

My mum was admitted to Ward 4B on Friday night, as soon as we arrived on the ward we were made to feel very welcome.  On behalf of my mum I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mr Watt, and all the nursing staff especially Staff Nurse Paula who spent time explaining to us as a family what would happen next during a very stressful time. Mr Watt was very empathetic and as a family we appreciated his time. Staff kept my Mum aware at all times what would happen taking the time to go through each procedure, which put my mum at ease. The staff on this ward are doing a sterling job and I just wanted to express my appreciation to them. Thank you.

Being in hospital as an individual or having a loved one in hospital can be a worrying time. The staff involved in your mum's care will be delighted to hear that you felt welcome, well informed and that they contributed to putting your mum and yourselves at ease.
