"Top class treatment"

About: Victoria Hospital / Pre-assessment

(as a service user),

This was in the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy at the Anaesthetic Clinic.

The Medic Nurse, Jackie, was willing to answer my questions about my Amlopidine pills, and the use of my Blood Pressure measuring gauge. She ensured that I was able to utilise it in a more positive way than I was doing up to then.

She also suggested that  I eliminate or reduce my caffeine intake. Her medical explanation of this has resulted in me taking one decaffeinated coffee a day only.

Thank you greatly Jackie!

A score of 100% on the gauge

Dear brycebv23,

Thank you for posting your experience on care opinion.

I am pleased to hear that you were given advice on your medication and caffeine intake which has resulted in a healthy change. Jackie and the team will be delighted with this feedback. I also note that you felt well looked after and your questions were answered. I hope you are managing with your blood pressure gauge following some help with it.

I will ensure that this is passed to Jackie and the team.

Thank you!

Andrea Bendowski
