(as a relative),

My mother was a patient within ward 2B Crosshouse Hospital for a significant period of time. She was admitted with a broken ankle but became extremely unwell and passed away.

The nursing staff were brilliant and I feel they should be made aware of this as they were very empathetic and dignified to both my mother and us as a family, they went above and beyond even when short staffed. Nothing was a problem.

The staff in Ward 2B will really appreciate knowing that you and your family felt so well supported, during what must have been a very traumatic time in your lives.
