For some years I have suffered with dizzy spells and the odd blackout, no one seemed able to find a reason or solution. I was transferred from my local hospital to LHCH where within a couple of days the cause of my condition had been identified and an appointment the next day arranged for the fitting of a pacemaker.
That has been carried out and I am now at home recovering.
I cannot praise highly enough the service that I received from everyone I came in contact with, from the cardiac specialist that implanted my pacemaker to the lovely lady that brought me my dinner (do try the all day breakfast). Everyone was caring efficient and knew how to bring a smile when it was needed.
If I ever have to come again and this was my second experience with the hospital, then I would attend happily. Thank you all so much.
Jim
