"Care and compassion at all times"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as a service user),

I was admitted onto the day surgery ward today for a minor Gynecology procedure. I received a friendly welcome from the ward clerkess and admitted by Kelly, who was friendly and put me at ease. She explained everything at every point and was compassionate and understanding. The anesthestic team were friendly and nurse Elaine kept me calm, again showing care and compassion at all times. 

The recovery team were excellent, Kerry and snr charge nurse Jennifer, managed my pain and kept me comfortable despite a busy department. 

And the big thanks as always to Dr Bollapragada , a fantastic Dr who continues to listen to his patients and work with them for the best outcome. He always listens and shows compassion.

I was delighted to hear the care and treatment you received from the staff was of a high standard.

We are extremely proud of the work the team do so to hear such lovely feedback from our patients is very heart warming.
