"Reassuring care on the ward"

About: Mater Hospital / Respiratory

(as a relative),

M y mum was very ill when she came onto the ward having fluid on her lungs and heart and pneumonia. She was in a room on her own to begin with the lady that was looking after her was so friendly. She was then moved to bay 3 on the same ward. They were nice there too.

One particular nurse was called Sonu was amazing with my mum when she got upset, was sensitive and friendly to my mum and me. People like these are an asset to have on a ward as they made feel less worried, knowing she was being looked after properly while I was away.

It really does My heart good to hear this lovely story. Staff Nurse Sonu is one of our many Nurses who are dedicated to delivering compassionate care to our very sick Patients. Thank you. I will ensure this story is shared with Sonu and meet with her to give her your feedback.

I agree totally all our nurses are a valuable asset to Our health service.
