My son passed away from cancer in April 2021 and I feel completely devastated and just can't cope. He was only 35 and he died 6 weeks after his diagnosis. He was cared for right up until the end at home which was his wishes. Watching him deteriorate is something I'll never ever forget. My other 3 children were with him too and it's just so hard to cope with I'm finding it difficult to be strong for them.
The support and care I have received has been second to none. The bereavement lady allocated to me was such a beautiful person and stayed supporting me until the correct service for my bereavement was found. I wouldn't have persevered without her help. She became like a friend to me...she listened to me and was there for me when I cried many tears. She was the major key for getting the help I desperately need and I can't thank her enough.
