I visited the Stafford site for this procedure and due to past trauma was considerably anxious. I met with a caring and supportive nurse who asked me about my concerns and was attentive.

This information was then passed onto the doctor in charge of todays procedure and he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. He reflected on his professional background and understanding of womens experiences during birth and pregnancy and the effect it can have on invasive procedures like this. He allowed me to feel in control and checked in the whole time to ensure i was ok. I am very greatful and will be less anxious the next time i am sure.
