I have been trying for weeks to book an appointment to have my coil replaced.
The online booking system never has anything available and the telephone line usually says unable to take call.
Today I waited for over an hour on the phone to be told there was nothing available for coils. I have been advised that appointments are released online at midnight. I have been trying online at midnight for weeks with no success.
My daughter has also been unable to get an appointment for contraception. I am very concerned that this situation will lead to unwanted pregnancies.
I have spoken to other women locally who are having similar difficulties.
South Lanarkshire Sexual Health Services are not currently providing appropriate care.
