"Overcoming my social anxiety"

About: Ealing IAPT

(as the patient),

I have struggled with social anxiety since I was a child. This was my first time trying IAPT and I am glad to have tried it. 

I had my CBT with Nick,  and I want to say a big thank you to him for helping me become the person I am today and I continue to become the best version of myself.

Nick was professional, non-judgmental, and eloquent. He helped identify the unhealthy core beliefs and rigid personal rules that I had and was contributing to my social anxiety. 

I learned many strategies and methods to deal with my anxiety and gained much insight into myself.  I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to have CBT with Nick, he got what I needed straight away and helped me change the way I think about so many things. I now feel in control, confident and capable of moving forward in life.
