This is my 7th week on the orthopedic ward, when I first arrived to the ward I received my surgery everything went well, the doctor was really pleased with the outcome. The care the staff provide on the ward is brilliant I couldn't ask for better, they are all lovely people. The communication with nurses is perfect everything is straightforward although with the doctors it isn't as good, I feel as if they don't really listen. The nurses are very professional there has bene times I have been upset and the nurses have spoke to me with such compassion and confidence and they have really been there to reassure me, I'm very thankful the care they provide is just impeccable. The domestics are great at their job, everything is hygienic and clean. The food is very repetitive, for being in here for a long period of time it isn't great as it does get very slickening and it just isn't like home, but I have been able to get some things brought to me which has been great.

Thank you for taking the time to give the orthopaedic ward your feedback. I am pleased that your orthopaedic surgery has been successful and trust that you are recovering well. I will pass your feedback onto the nursing staff. They are working hard and care for the patients on the ward. Receiving positive feedback helps nursing staff to continue to develop professionally. We have a lovely purpose built ward environment to work in and domestic staff are working very hard to maintain high standards off cleanliness.

the kitchen staff will review the feedback to see if improvements can be made to the patient menu.

I will pass your positive feedback regarding the cleanliness of the ward to the Domestic Services Team.

I am sorry to hear that you find the menu repetitive. The menus are reviewed frequently and I will pass you suggestions on to the Catering Manager.
