"Recovery from Removal of Prostate"

About: Oncology / Physical Activity Classes

(as the patient),

Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer and subsequent removal of your Prostate is a major shock to your system. While the operation may remove the cancer, you still need help with the recovery process.

I found one significant help came from the weekly physical exercise classes from Physical Coach Joe. His exercises including some involving weights are geared towards strengthening the areas effected by the surgery.

The routine inspired by Joe's weekly classes is very beneficial, while his calm and professional delivery of the class is reassuring. I also found the classes moved me to use some of these exercises more regularly and are a great contributor towards active recovery from such major surgery.
