"Ended up in hospital"

About: Hendford Lodge Medical Centre, Yeovil

(as a service user),

Can never get an appointment.  Apart from one, reception team very rude and abrupt.

Had chest infections by the time I got an appointment, lot worse, most of time told to ring 111. Also had shingles and gall bladder infection.

Locum at Hendford told me over phone I didn't have shingles, saw out of hours and 2 A&E docs who said definitely shingles, by then it was too late to have meds to help, 72 hour deadline.

Ended up in hospital with pains, was gall bladder infection, been left to get very bad, was asking app for ages, saying getting worse. I  could go on.

I'm sorry that you feel you did not have a good service from Hendford Lodge. We run a collection of acute services for patients from a GP triage service to appointments with the acute care team which consists of doctors and paramedics. If you would like to contact us at the surgery, we will of course look into this matter.
