"Fantastic service"

I'm just back from Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride after an angiogram.  I was naturally apprehensive like any visit to a hospital but I needn't have worried.

From the moment I stepped through the door at reception I was helped and looked after with professional and wonderful care , with every procedure explained and question answered. 

The staff, doctors and nurses were friendly, down to earth and put me at ease right away and treated me like a friend or family member as opposed to a number or a "customer". I am in awe of our wonderful NHS staff who do a fantastic job even though they are often under pressure or short staffed.
